Be considerate of your neighbors. Check with them prior to making a pile of brush to burn, or prior to making a campfire pit. Smoke can be an irritant and if it is a nuisance to your neighbors, this can be a valid reason to have your permit revoked.
Campfire permits are allowed and can be obtained at the Town Hall. Campfire permits as of this writing are valid for the entire calendar year. Campfire permits have restrictions that must be adhered to or the permit can be revoked. Campfires mean just that, a campfire nothing larger that 3’ in diameter and burning can only take place between the hours of 6:00pm-12:00am.
